Yunnan Provincial Industrial Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Industrial Investment Group") is one of the key backbone enterprises in Yunnan Province. Its predecessor was Yunnan Provincial State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., established in 2000. In 2008, with the approval of the People's Government of Yunnan Province, the Industrial Investment Group was established.

Since its establishment, the Group has actively explored effective approaches and methods for state-owned capital investment and value management, following the principles of "optimized allocation, key expansion, capital operation, and rolling development". It has promoted mutual reinforcement between capital operations and industrial development, comprehensively strengthening and improving asset management capabilities. While advancing the integration of resources in Yunnan, it has developed strong capabilities in capital operation, equity investment, and state-owned asset management and operation.

At the beginning of 2014, in accordance with the overall requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for deepening reform, the Group proactively integrated into the broader reform of state-owned enterprises, adhering to the operational purpose of "leveraging capital strength to promote industrial development", and established the "1335" development strategy. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the Industrial Investment Group will actively integrate into the Belt and Road Initiative, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor construction plan, relying on Yunnan's resource, regional, and policy advantages. Closely following national strategic emerging industries, it will focus on cultivating five major industries: biomedicine, electronic information, park industries, modern service industries, and other strategic emerging industries, playing a role in guiding state-owned capital investment, supporting structural adjustment, and ensuring capital appreciation through operations. It will accelerate its development into the most professionally specialized state-owned capital investment company in Yunnan Province.
