China CYTS is a witness to the reform and opening-up of China's tourism industry. In 1980, with the approval of the Party Central Committee, China CYTS became the first travel agency enterprise established after China's reform and opening-up. In 1997, China CYTS became the first A-share listed company in the industry with a complete tourism concept. At the end of 2017, in accordance with the spirit of the central mass organization reform, China CYTS was wholly transferred from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to China Everbright Group, becoming a first-level wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, and thus becoming a tourism listed company with the background of a central large financial holding group. The actual controller of the company also changed from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to the State Council.
