CITIC Bank

Founded in 1987, China CITIC Bank is one of the earliest emerging commercial banks established during China's reform and opening-up, and one of the first commercial banks in China to participate in domestic and international financial market financing. It has gained a prestigious reputation both at home and abroad for creating numerous firsts in China's modern financial history, making positive contributions to China's economic development. In April 2007, the Bank achieved a synchronous A+H share listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

As of the end of 2024, the Bank operates 1,470 business outlets in 153 large and medium-sized cities in China and has seven subsidiaries domestically and internationally: CITIC International Financial Holdings Limited, CITIC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, CITIC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., CITIC Wealth Management Co., Ltd., CITIC Baixin Bank Co., Ltd., Altyn Bank, and Zhejiang Lin'an CITIC Village Bank Co., Ltd. Among them, CITIC Bank (International) Limited, a subsidiary of CITIC International Financial Holdings Limited, operates 31 business outlets and 2 business wealth management centers in Hong Kong, Macau, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, and mainland China. CITIC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited has three subsidiaries in Hong Kong and within China. CITIC Wealth Management Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned wealth management subsidiary of the Bank. CITIC Baixin Bank Co., Ltd. is China's first independent legal-person direct bank, jointly established by the Bank and Baidu. Altyn Bank operates 7 business outlets and 1 private banking center in Kazakhstan.
