Approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, on March 30, 2001, China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (referred to as China Securities Depository and Clearing) was established as a non-profit corporate entity in accordance with the Company Law of the People's Republic of China and the Securities Law of the People's Republic of China. As one of the most important financial infrastructures in China's capital market, adhering to the principles of safety and efficiency, and in line with the needs of the accelerated development of a multi-tiered capital market, it has improved and perfected a centralized and unified securities registration and clearing system, providing standardized, flexible, and diversified securities registration and clearing infrastructure services for various participants in the registration and clearing system who engage in on-exchange and over-the-counter transactions, public and private offerings, spot and derivative products as well as cross-border securities spot and derivative investments and financing.
