The hospital has a building area of 8,000 square meters and 100 beds. It is a rehabilitation specialty hospital featuring neurological rehabilitation, bone and joint rehabilitation, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation. The hospital has set up multiple clinical and medical technology departments, including the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, Rehabilitation Therapy Department, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Medical Laboratory, Medical Imaging, and Ultrasound Diagnosis Room. Among them, the Rehabilitation Medicine Department includes the Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Department, Neurological Rehabilitation Department, and Pain Rehabilitation Department; the Rehabilitation Therapy Department has more than ten rehabilitation treatment and functional assessment rooms, including Physical Therapy Room, Occupational Therapy Room, Traditional Medicine Rehabilitation Room, Psychotherapy Room, Hydrotherapy Room, Motor/Balance Function Assessment Room, Cognitive Function Assessment Room, Speech/Swallowing Function Assessment Room, Activities of Daily Living Assessment Room, Psychological Assessment Room, Neuroelectrophysiological Examination Room, Cardiopulmonary Function Examination Room, Hearing/Vision Screening Room, etc. To meet the needs of rehabilitation treatment, the hospital has introduced and equipped various treatment devices using physical factors such as electricity, light, sound, magnetism, cold, heat, and force, as well as exercise and occupational therapy devices and equipment such as weight-reduced walking training, rehabilitation treadmill, standing tilt table, muscle strength training, CPM, computer cognitive training, ADL training, and hand and upper limb function training, and is also equipped with traditional rehabilitation treatment programs such as traditional Chinese massage, acupuncture, cupping, and fumigation. Through the use of scientific treatment methods and means, we provide active rehabilitation treatment for patients with functional impairments caused by various diseases, in order to promote patients' functional recovery and return to society and family. The hospital has invited Professor Zhu Shanshan from Hubei Provincial People's Hospital and Professor Liao Weijing, Director of the Rehabilitation Department of Zhongnan Hospital, to serve as visiting professors for a long time, and has hired Shan Zhan, the first-place technician in the 2015 National Rehabilitation Skills Competition, as the chief rehabilitation technician of Wuhan Zhiliao Hospital.
