Historical Evolution: The company was founded in 1949, formerly known as the Central Machinery Road Construction Corps under the Ministry of Building Construction, and was responsible for the construction of key national projects and Third Front construction projects in the Central South and Southwest regions. In 1958, it was renamed the Second Earthwork Engineering Company of the Machinery Construction General Company of the Ministry of Building Construction. In 1970, it was renamed the Earthwork Regiment of the 102 Engineering Command of the National Ministry of Building Construction. In 1972, it was placed under Hubei Province and renamed the Earthwork Engineering Company of the Hubei Provincial * Building Engineering Bureau. In 1984, it was renamed the Earthwork Engineering Company of the Hubei Provincial Industrial Construction General Company. Performance Capabilities: In the late 1960s, it was ordered to assemble in Shiyan to participate in the Second Automobile Works battle, undertaking large-scale earthwork site leveling, railway, highway, and tunnel construction for the Shiyan Second Automobile Works, while also undertaking site leveling construction for multiple large industrial enterprises such as Hubei Chemical Fiber Plant and Jingmen Refinery. From the 1980s to 1990s, it constructed multiple first-class highway and bridge projects including the Wuhan-Huangshi Highway, National Highway 107, National Highway 207, and National Highway 316. Around 2000, it constructed multiple engineering projects including the civil engineering works of the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, the civil engineering works of the Xiaogan-Xiangyang Expressway, the civil engineering works of the Puyang至Fanxian Expressway in Henan, and the earthwork engineering of the Jinjiang Industrial Park in Fujian. Starting in 2011, it successively constructed multiple key projects including the drainage engineering of six roads in the Shenzhen Industrial Park in Xiangyang, the new construction project of the eastern extension of Binjiang Road in Xiangyang, the second phase of the Xiangyang National Fitness Center, multiple municipal road projects in the Dongjin New Area of Xiangyang, and the first phase greening project in Xiangyang.
