(1) Company Basic Information
The company was established in February 2008. It is a modern gas enterprise engaged in urban gas investment, construction, operation and management, founded by Jiangxi Provincial Investment Group Corporation to thoroughly implement the strategic decision of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government on "building the natural gas pipeline project into Jiangxi and accelerating the utilization of natural gas in Jiangxi." In December 2010, Jiangxi Provincial Investment Group Corporation introduced Sinopec as a strategic investor through capital increase and share expansion, and reorganized the company's assets, with registered capital of RMB 370 million, of which Jiangxi Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd. holds 54% and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation holds 46%. The company's headquarters is located in Nanchang, with 12 functional departments including the Party-Masses Work Department, General Manager's Office (Logistics Management Department), Human Resources Department, Finance and Assets Department, Supervision and Audit Department, Enterprise Management Department, Investment and Development Department (Marketing Department), Work Safety Department, Engineering Management Department and Information Management Center. The entire system currently has more than 700 employees. Up to now, the company has established 22 various holding and share-participating enterprises, mainly through joint ventures and cooperation with Hong Kong and China Gas, ENN Gas, China Resources Gas and other local state-owned enterprises, distributed in Xinyu, Jiujiang, Gao'an, Fuzhou, Shangrao and other places. Its business areas cover urban gas, direct industrial supply, vehicle gas filling, ship bunkering, pipeline installation and pipeline anti-corrosion and other natural gas terminal fields. In recent years, under the correct leadership of both shareholders, the company has adhered to the premise of safe production, continuously improved the management and service level for subordinate enterprises, and on the basis of consolidating the urban gas and direct industrial supply user markets, vigorously expanded the vehicle and ship gas market, and deeply promoted development and upgrading. It is making unremitting efforts to build the corporate vision of "a domestically first-class urban gas operator" and to promote the upgrading of the province's industrial structure and build a prosperous, harmonious and beautiful Jiangxi.
