Panda was founded in 2000 and is a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai. The company has a registered capital of 120 million yuan, total assets of more than 5 billion yuan, and nearly 3,000 employees. Panda focuses on smart water management and provides customers with smart water system solutions and a series of products. It is a modern large enterprise group integrating R&D, production, and sales of smart integrated equipment such as smart integrated pump stations, peak-shaving pump stations, fire pump stations, pure water pump stations, and prefabricated sewage pump stations, as well as smart water informatization.
Panda actively responds to national policies. Centered on smart water management, it established Shanghan Technology to focus on the R&D and manufacturing of intelligent water pumps; holds a controlling stake in Dinasound to focus on the ultrasonic water meter and flowmeter market; joined hands with Wuhan Zondy Digital Technology to create a full-process informatization solution for the water supply industry; and founded Wohai Software Technology, pioneering a forward-looking concept of using artificial intelligence to guide smart water supply. Its entire product series embeds independently developed WaterAI, realizing Internet + artificial intelligence + smart water management, providing system solutions, and guiding a new model of water supply operations.
Panda's core competitiveness lies in advanced technology oriented to customer needs. In testing, we have a national closed-type first-class test bench. We also have a smart water research institute with more than 100 people and an academician expert workstation. We continuously innovate and make breakthroughs in technology and applications, introduce advanced international technology, enhance the technological content of our products, and have successfully developed a series of products with international standards, obtaining more than 260 national patents. Many products have filled domestic gaps. At the same time, we have won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, participated in National Torch Plan projects and 863 Program projects, and drafted two national standards, "Box-Type Stacked Pressure Water Supply Equipment" and "Tank-Type Stacked Pressure Water Supply Equipment," which were issued and implemented in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Four major series of products were included in the National Building Standard Design Atlas, and six major series of products are Shanghai high-tech achievement transformation projects. Many products are national key new products and new energy-saving products jointly certified and promoted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and the State Environmental Protection Administration.
Panda has built a smart water industrial park in Shanghai, deployed 7 major production and R&D bases nationwide, established 38 subsidiaries and branches, 289 offices, and provides five-star service to every customer through 350 after-sales service outlets.
While receiving a series of honors, we have also gradually gained recognition from market users. Sales performance has increased year by year. By 2018, the total number of equipment sales in China exceeded 380,000 units (sets), and national sales exceeded 3 billion yuan.
