China Railway Construction Corporation 16th Bureau Group is affiliated to the world's top 500 company - China Railway Construction Corporation Limited. China Railway 16th Bureau Group Corporation has a glorious development history. Its predecessor was the 11th and 13th Divisions of the Railway Corps of the People's Liberation Army, established in 1952. In 1981, they were merged into the 11th Division of the Railway Corps, which was the 'Capital Division' of the Railway Corps at that time. In 1984, the unit was collectively transferred to the Ministry of Railways and renamed the 16th Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways. In 1990, China Railway Construction Corporation was registered and established. In 1999, it was renamed 'China Railway 16th Engineering Bureau'. In 2000, it came under the management of the Central Enterprise Work Commission. In 2002, it was restructured into China Railway 16th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. After the establishment of SASAC in 2003, it was placed under the management of the State Council SASAC. In March 2008, as one of the major group companies under China Railway Construction Corporation, it was successfully listed together with the whole company.
Over the 60 years of development, China Railway 16th Bureau Group Corporation has participated in the construction of more than 300 national key projects.
