CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as: CGN New Energy), is an important second-tier member company of China General Nuclear Power Group, listed in Hong Kong in October 2014, positioned as an important platform for CGN to develop and operate non-nuclear clean and renewable energy power generation projects, fully responsible for the business development and reform innovation of CGN's domestic new energy industry. CGN New Energy is a pilot unit for the three reforms of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and received an A-level rating in the special evaluation of the three system reforms of "Double Hundred Enterprises" by the Leading Group for State-owned Enterprise Reform of the State Council in 2020. CGN officially started its new energy business in 2007. After more than ten years of development, the new energy business has become an important pillar industry in CGN's "6+1" industrial structure, fully covering wind power, solar energy, energy storage, pumped storage, and other types. As of the end of 2022, CGN New Energy's total installed capacity in operation exceeded 35 million kilowatts.
