Beijing Hou Liping Rheumatism Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a second-class A specialized hospital of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), located at No. 8 Zhenxing Road, Changping District, Beijing. Approved by the Changping District Health Bureau on May 5, 2002, it is a large-specialty and small-comprehensive hospital that centers on TCM as the main body, features innovative diagnosis and treatment models, and focuses on the treatment of rheumatic and immune system diseases. Since its establishment, under the direct leadership and care of the district (municipal) health bureau, the hospital has greatly improved and developed in terms of scale construction, scientific research and development, technical staffing, diagnosis and treatment technology, bed configuration, and medical equipment. Hospital nature: The legal representative and academic leader is Dr. Hou Liping (Chief TCM Physician, doctoral supervisor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Rheumatology), who founded Taiyuan Rheumatism Hospital (a key specialty construction unit of the National Administration of TCM). The core treatment system for rheumatic diseases is the "Hou's General Tongluo Therapy," which has been listed as a key promotion project for scientific and technological achievements during the national "10th Five-Year Plan" and "11th Five-Year Plan" periods.
