Xi'an Tianlong Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianlong Technology"), founded in 1997, has been committed to the research and development, production, and provision of overall solutions for instruments and in vitro diagnostic reagents in the fields of genetic testing and molecular diagnostics.
As one of the innovators in the domestic genetic testing and molecular diagnostics field, the company, leveraging its sustainable development value, received investment support from the multinational enterprise group SK in 2012, and strategic investment from the listed company Shanghai Kehua Bio-engineering Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Kehua Bio", stock code: 002022) in 2018.
The company possesses several major technology platforms, including automated nucleic acid extraction, gene amplification, fluorescence PCR, sequencing technology, and ATP fluorescence detection. Based on these existing technology platforms, the company has achieved the research and development, production, and sales of various products. To date, it has obtained more than 50 NMPA medical device registration certificates, over 20 EU CE, international CB certifications, and Korean FDA registration certificates, as well as 5 national key new product certificates, and has passed the ISO9001 and ISO13485 quality system assessments. The company's products currently range from molecular detection instruments and equipment, such as nano-magnetic bead-based nucleic acid extractors, gene amplification thermal cyclers, and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR instruments, to large-scale automated nucleic acid workstations, with supporting reagents amounting to hundreds of varieties. It has become a domestic enterprise in the nucleic acid molecular diagnostics industry with a comprehensive product range and a relatively high market share, focusing on independent research, development, and production.
The company's products can be widely applied in multiple fields, including infectious disease prevention and control, genetic disease diagnosis, tumor risk prediction, personalized medication, food safety, forensic identification, and scientific research. Currently, it serves over 2,000 customers in more than 40 countries and regions worldwide and has made significant contributions to the prevention and control of major sudden public health events such as avian influenza, African Ebola, Zika, MERS, African swine fever, and COVID-19, receiving widespread attention from all sectors.
The company is also a national high-tech enterprise, a national intellectual property pilot enterprise, a national high-tech industrialization demonstration enterprise for biomedical engineering under the National Development and Reform Commission, an innovative enterprise of Shaanxi Province and Xi'an City, a workstation for academicians in Shaanxi Province and Xi'an City, and the supporting unit of the Shaanxi Provincial Life Science Detection Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center. It has led or undertaken more than ten major national scientific research and industrialization projects, including the National Major Scientific Instruments and Equipment Development Special Project, the National 863 Program, the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Science and Technology Support Program, as well as provincial and municipal major research and industrialization projects, and has also participated in the development and implementation application of multiple projects.
