China Taiping Insurance Group, founded in Shanghai in 1929, is the oldest national insurance brand in China's history with continuous operations, and the only central financial enterprise managed by the central government with its headquarters overseas. Taiping Financial Services was established in 2012 as a first-tier subsidiary of China Taiping Insurance Group, and completed a capital increase and share expansion in 2018.
