The company was established in January 2004, originally named "Chongqing Kangxiang Real Estate Development Co., Ltd." In 2009, the company was renamed "Chongqing Kangxiang Industrial Co., Ltd." In December 2014, according to the unified deployment of the District Party Committee and District Government, the company was incorporated into the key state-owned enterprises (investment and financing category) of Yuzhong District and renamed "Chongqing Kangxiang Industrial Group Co., Ltd." In order to adapt to the construction and development of Yuzhong District's administrative center, cultural center, and headquarters center, the registered capital was increased to 1.5 billion yuan, making it a comprehensive group company integrating project development, asset operation, cultural tourism, construction supervision, property management, hotel operation, elderly care and rehabilitation, and industrial investment.
The company holds a Grade II real estate development qualification. Since its establishment, it has developed and constructed projects including Shangling Garden, Jinshan Matrix, Liziba Anti-Japanese War Site Park, Chongqing Somerset Changjiang Serviced Residence, Yuzhong District Shancheng Senior University, Jiaochangkou Taoist Temple Relocation and Reconstruction, and Yuzhong District Fire Brigade Command Center, with a cumulative completed gross floor area of one million square meters.
