Chongqing Water Conservancy Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Chongqing Water Investment Group) was officially established in November 2003, becoming a *provincial-level water conservancy investment group. In November 2019, Chongqing Water Investment Group completed its professional restructuring and became a key municipal state-owned enterprise directly held by Chongqing SASAC. The Group's core businesses include important water resource security, urban-rural water supply integration, innovative comprehensive utilization of water resources, and water environment treatment, among others. It has completed various investments totaling over 60 billion yuan, built nearly 100 large and medium-sized reservoirs, and formed an annual raw water supply capacity of 1.6 billion cubic meters; built 131 water supply projects in 21 districts and counties and surrounding townships, with a designed daily water supply capacity of 2.34 million cubic meters; built three major water pumping projects in western Chongqing—Tongguanyi, Songgai and Qiongjiang—adding a daily pumping capacity of 450,000 cubic meters; and built 63 hydropower stations with a total installed power generation capacity of 530,000 kilowatts. As of the end of 2022, the Group's total assets reached 80.7 billion yuan, with a main body credit rating of AAA.
