深圳歌剧舞剧院是深圳市委市政府贯彻落实党的十九大精神，立足深圳的城市定位，繁荣发展社会主义文艺创作这一目标而新组建的艺术团体，成立于2018年3月28日。
剧院定位为国有公益类文化企业，下设歌剧团和舞剧团，主要从事歌舞创作和演出，承担重要演出任务，开展公共文化服务和对外文化交流。深圳歌剧舞剧院现任院长刘兴范，艺术总监左青，总经理郑文霞，艺术顾问印青、应萼定、朱海。
