中国通信学会（China Institute of Communications，CIC，以下简称“学会”）成立于1978年，是在民政部注册的*学会，隶属于工业和信息化部，业务主管为中国科学技术协会，是民政部评估的5A级社会组织。学会党支部被中央和国家机关工委授予“四强”党支部称号。学会下设58个分支机构，与全国29个省级通信学会建立了密切的业务合作关系，个人会员7.6万余人、单位会员420余家。 学会坚持为科技工作者服务、为创新驱动发展服务、为提高全民科学素质服务、为党和政府科学决策服务的定位，是党和政府联系信息通信科技工作者的重要桥梁和纽带。
