Shanghai Kaijie Doors, Windows and Curtain Wall Engineering Co., Ltd. was originally established in 1997 by Shanghai Building Materials (Group) Corporation, Shanghai Zhuzong (Group) Corporation, Shanghai Architectural Design & Research Institute, Shanghai Huili (Group) Corporation, and Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences. It is a large-scale enterprise integrating scientific research, development, manufacturing, production, sales, and construction of doors, windows, and curtain walls.
After a smooth restructuring from July 2007 to August 2009, the company is now a private enterprise. Its registered address is Sijing Industrial Park, Songjiang District, Shanghai, covering an area of 60 mu, with standard factory buildings and office buildings. The company currently has advanced management, well-established departments, strong technical force, stable sales business, strict production and quality management, and good after-sales service. Both doors/windows and curtain walls have passed ISO9001 quality system certification, GB/T50430 engineering construction enterprise quality management standard certification, green building material certification, and glass 3C certification. Since 2009, it has been rated as "Shanghai Building Doors and Windows Industry Quality Integrity Excellent Enterprise (Pinghe Award)" for three consecutive years. It is an excellent enterprise with first-class professional contracting qualifications for doors, windows, and curtain walls, and top-grade (Grade A) special design qualification for curtain walls. It is also a participating unit in the formulation of national standards for ventilation windows.
The company has purchased 150 mu of land in Shangyu Hangzhou Bay Industrial Park. The modern production base project, including factory buildings, dormitory buildings, canteen buildings, and a clubhouse, has begun to take shape. The company is developing into a large group integrating building doors, windows, curtain walls, and internal and external decoration. Currently, it has three subsidiaries: Shanghai Kaijie Doors, Windows and Curtain Wall (registered capital of 80 million yuan), Shanghai Changrui Decoration (registered capital of 8 million yuan), and Zhejiang Kaijie Curtain Wall (registered capital of 50 million yuan).
Since August 18, 2014, the company's office building has been relocated to the 8th floor, Building 7, No. 7001 Zhongchun Road (Minggu Science and Technology Park). In December 2014, the original production line equipment in Sijing, Songjiang, was successfully relocated to the newly completed production base.
