Zhixin Technology Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established on September 17, 2019, and its predecessor was Dongfeng Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., established in 2001. As the main battlefield for Dongfeng Motor Corporation's new energy vehicle business, it has gone through three main stages: "taking complete vehicles as the research object," to "developing new energy vehicle platforms and vehicle controllers," and then to "developing and researching core technologies for new energy three electrics."
In accordance with the principles of complete socialization and a high degree of marketization, the company lays out core technologies and resources for the next decade and focuses on three major businesses: new energy "three electrics," hydrogen energy, and intelligent driving. At present, it has formed complete capabilities in "three electrics" product development, test verification, manufacturing and sales, and matching services, with nearly 300 technical personnel of various types and more than 260 sets of various testing equipment. It has completed commodity planning covering the entire field of electric drive, hybrid power, and fuel cells. The globally leading new-generation integrated electric drive system iD2 series has completed development and entered small-batch production, and the hybrid powertrain HD120 is expected to achieve SOP in September 2020.
At present, the company's "three electrics" industrialization capacity building has been completed in stages. The production capacity of 400,000 sets of electronic control and 100,000 sets of battery systems in Park 1#, covering 133 mu, has been built and put into production, and the production capacity of 300,000 IGBTs is expected to be put into production by the end of 2020; Park 2#, covering 360 mu, has completed Phase 1.1 construction and currently has the production capacity of 280,000 sets of motors and drive assemblies and 1,000 sets of fuel cell powertrains.
