Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dongfeng Honda) is a vehicle manufacturing and operation enterprise jointly established by Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (50% stake), Honda Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (10% stake), and Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Japan (40% stake). It was established on July 16, 2003, with a registered capital of USD 1.448 billion. It currently operates three production plants with a designed annual capacity of 640,000 vehicles. For six consecutive years, its annual output value has exceeded RMB 100 billion, making it the first single enterprise in Hubei's industrial history to surpass this milestone.
