Dongfeng Dingxin Powertrain System Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dingxin Powertrain") is an enterprise specialized in the research, development, and production of automotive powertrain series products. The company was formerly known as Dongfeng Getrag Automotive Transmission Co., Ltd., a joint venture established in 2013 by Dongfeng Motor Group and Germany's Getrag, the world's leading independent automotive transmission manufacturer. Based on strategic considerations, the shareholders completed an equity restructuring in December 2020, and the company has now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dongfeng Group.

Leveraging years of accumulated R&D and manufacturing capabilities, Dongfeng Dingxin Powertrain System Technology Co., Ltd.'s products have covered powertrain systems such as traditional fuel dual-clutch transmissions (DCT), dedicated hybrid modules (DHU), and pure electric reduction gearboxes (eDT), committed to providing customers with technologically advanced, high-quality products and services. It offers powertrain solutions to help vehicle manufacturers achieve optimal vehicle performance matching. The company's 6DCT150/200 products have been successfully adapted to numerous best-selling models of strategic customers such as Dongfeng Motor Group and SAIC General Motors, with excellent product performance and quality. The 7DCT300 product is scheduled to enter mass production in 2021 on a star model. Meanwhile, the independently developed pure electric reduction gearbox product has successfully won over strategic customers.
