Meiko Electronics (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. was established in August 2005 as a large-scale printed circuit board production base invested by Meiko Group Co., Ltd. (Japan) in Mainland China, mainly serving international well-known brands from Europe, America, Japan, and South Korea. The company has a total investment of USD 326 million, covers an area of 153,500 square meters, and has a building area of nearly 170,000 square meters. The first phase of the project has been completed and put into production on July 15, 2006; the second phase was completed in May 2009. The company has been recognized multiple times as an Excellent Foreign-Invested Enterprise in Wuhan, an Advanced Enterprise for Expanding Opening-up in the Province, and an Advanced Unit in Human Resource Management.
Currently, the company comprises three major business divisions: Any-layer Build-up Board Division, Through-hole Board Division, and Aluminum Heat-Sink Board Division, producing substrates for applications such as LCD TVs, mobile phones, digital cameras, printers, automotive boards, navigation systems, solar energy, and LEDs.
