Shenzhen University General Hospital

Shenzhen University General Hospital (Shenzhen University Clinical Medical Sciences Academy, hereinafter referred to as "SUGH") was fully funded by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. It is positioned as a research-oriented hospital that integrates medical care, teaching, scientific research, and health management, aiming to be internationally renowned and domestically first-class. It is the first directly affiliated public hospital of Shenzhen University.
      SUGH is located in Xili, Nanshan, blending with the city and accompanied by water, with a beautiful environment. It covers an area of nearly 90,000 square meters and is built in two phases. Phase I was completed in September 2017, with a building area of approximately 140,000 square meters and 800 approved beds. After the completion of Phase II, new ward buildings and teaching and research facilities will be added, bringing the total number of beds to 1,400 and the total building area to approximately 265,000 square meters.
      The hospital is led by President Jiang Baoguo, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The hospital adheres to the principle of driving discipline development through the construction of clinical centers, and promoting the coordinated advancement of multiple high-quality characteristic discipline groups through the radiation of advantageous disciplines. Its clinical capabilities in the fields of hematology, trauma emergency, spinal bone diseases, oncology, neurological diseases, urological diseases, digestive tract, oral diseases, and nursing are at the top level in the province and city, and first-class in China.
