CRRC Shenyang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. is affiliated with CRRC Corporation Limited and Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock Group Co., Ltd. Its main products are the manufacturing of new railway freight cars, maintenance, and the production of various railway components. It is a leading enterprise in railway freight car maintenance in China and a backbone enterprise in new freight car manufacturing. It has an annual production capacity of 5,000 new freight cars and 15,000 maintained freight cars. The T11BK-type 500-meter long rail transport vehicle set, independently developed by the company, won the First Prize of the Ministry of Railways Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The rail-changing work vehicle set developed for Beijing Metro Company has been successfully put into operation. The independently developed GHA70A-type p-xylene tank cars and other energy and chemical tank cars have been successively launched to the market. The independently developed flat cars, cement cars, ore cars, and coal hopper cars have successfully entered the international market. The company's participation in projects such as the piggyback transport vehicles, 160km/h express freight cars, and bogie projects has been listed as major projects in CRRC's 2016 science and technology research and development plan. Through a joint venture with Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation, the company also has certain advantages in developing high-quality braking products for railway locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, urban rail, and metro systems. The BAB (TMX)-type integrated braking device, jointly developed with Westinghouse and CRRC Qiqihar, has been put into service.
