Shengu Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shengu Group) is a strategic and leading enterprise in China's equipment manufacturing industry, undertaking the mission of providing major core equipment and complete solutions for the national energy and chemical sectors. Shengu Group is a national high-tech enterprise, serving as the chairman unit of the general machinery fan industry, compressor industry, and pump industry under the national machinery industry, responsible for formulating industry technical standards and issuing relevant device inspection and testing work, and undertaking the mission of leading the development of the three major categories of national general machinery. Shengu Group has no substitute and cannot be replaced domestically, and is renowned as the "national counterweight" and "great national equipment". Shengu Group is mainly engaged in the R&D, design, manufacturing, and full lifecycle service of high-end equipment known as the "industrial heart", including large centrifugal compressors, large reciprocating compressors, large pumps, and industrial steam turbines. It is the largest general machinery equipment production and research base in China, and the only enterprise with the qualification and product performance for designing and manufacturing nuclear safety class I, II, and III pumps. Its products are widely used in key national engineering fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, air separation, natural gas, electric power, and environmental protection. Shengu Group possesses world-class R&D capabilities, forming a joint innovation system centered on "two stations, five institutes, and five centers", supported by internal technical departments, and supplemented by overseas R&D institutions. It has established national and provincial-level R&D institutions such as the National Energy Large-Scale Turbine Compressor Unit R&D (Experimental) Center and the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Centrifugal Compressor Technology and Equipment. Currently, Shengu Group has the capability to develop and manufacture compressor units for ethylene (1.8 million tons per year), PTA (1.4 million tons per year), oil refining (20 million tons per year), LNG (5 million cubic meters), long-distance natural gas pipelines, air separation (150,000 Nm³/h), 660MW compressed air energy storage, large clean coal chemical, large wind tunnel, high-thrust reciprocating compressors, EVA ultra-high-pressure reciprocating compressors, as well as nuclear main pumps for Guohe No.1 and Hualong No.1, making outstanding contributions to safeguarding national security in five major aspects and promoting the development of the energy and chemical industries.
