中国人民解放军第6909工厂成立于1969年，现位于江苏昆山，是国家高新技术企业，也是国有企业。主要从事短波通信、有线通信、电子对抗、网络安全以及自主可控产品的科研和生产，产品达到国际先进水平。工厂现有员工600余人，其中专业技术人员占比达50%，科研部门下设一个新技术研究中心、11个研究室，在北京、上海、合肥等地均设有研发中心。
