Jiangxi Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

By the banks of the Gan River, in the charming city of Nanchang, beside Laofushan, stands a formidable Second Hospital. Founded in 1950, it is the only Grade 3A hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in Jiangxi Province, and has grown into a comprehensive hospital integrating medical care, scientific research, teaching, prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation. In 1996, the hospital joined the ranks of the 13 Grade 3A hospitals of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine nationwide; in 2001, it was jointly established with Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the Affiliated Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and was designated by the Provincial Department of Health as the "Jiangxi Provincial Base for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Clinical Practice, Teaching, and Research." In 2008, it was rated by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as one of the "First Batch of Top Ten National Key Hospitals of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine." It is a "Provincial-Level Publicly Satisfied Hospital" and has been awarded the title of "Provincial-Level Civilized Unit" for multiple consecutive terms.
