ST Electronics (Chong Qing) Co., Ltd. is an enterprise registered in the Internet Industrial Park of Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary invested and established in Chongqing by ST Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which is under Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited (ST Electronics).

In accordance with ST Electronics' strategic development plan for the Chinese market, and leveraging the opportunity of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project, ST Electronics officially invested in and established ST Electronics (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., aiming to build the Chongqing company into 'ST Electronics' West China Headquarters and Technology R&D Center', and to actively participate in the intelligent information construction of smart city roads, rail transit, smart healthcare, future education and other fields in Chongqing and the entire western region. It actively explores the construction of a hardware R&D center for Greater China, and will work in sync with ST Electronics on the development and design of smart transportation, intelligent buildings, big data, data center training simulation and other fields, providing R&D support for business areas such as intelligent transportation, rail transit, and training simulation for China and the world.
ST Electronics (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. was established in November 2017, with an optimized combination of multiple core technologies.
