Kunming Huakun

Huakun Engineering Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (referred to as Huakun Consulting), formerly known as Kunming Huakun Engineering Cost Consulting Co., Ltd. (referred to as Kunming Huakun), originated from the audit firm affiliated with the Kunming Special Commissioner's Office of the National Audit Office. In August 2001, it was restructured into an independent legal entity intermediary institution after decoupling from the government. In December 2018, Kunming Huakun absorbed and merged its subsidiary R&D company and was renamed Huakun Consulting.
Huakun Consulting holds Class A qualifications in engineering cost, Class A credit in engineering consulting (construction and highway), judicial appraisal of engineering cost, and qualifications for classified business services.
Huakun Consulting currently has 430 employees, including over 380 professionals, 101 registered cost engineers, and 16 registered consulting engineers; 206 staff hold intermediate or above professional titles, with 3 at senior level and 70 at deputy senior level.
Huakun Consulting serves as a consulting and auditing service provider for the Ministry of Finance, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (China National Tobacco Corporation), China Huaneng, China Huadian, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Mobile, China Telecom, the Audit Department, Finance Department, and Transportation Department of Yunnan Province, Yunnan Provincial Investment, Communication Investment, Urban Investment, Energy Investment, Construction Investment, Airport Group, China Eastern Airlines, Wanda Group, Vanke, Greenland, and Beijing Capital Group, among others. After years of refinement, it has grown into a comprehensive consulting service provider focused on cost consulting, with capabilities in whole-process engineering consulting, financial consulting and auditing, BIM consulting, budget performance management, PPP consulting, application of cost databases, judicial appraisal (engineering cost), and bidding and procurement management.
