核工业天津工程勘察院成立于1993年，是天津华北地质勘查局核工业二四七大队（地勘事业单位）下属全民所有制企业，下设工程勘察院、环境工程院、地理信息院、地灾治理院及天津华核检测中心。是一支集工程勘察设计、岩土施工、地质灾害治理、环保检测与施工、工程测量与测绘、水文地质施工、岩石土壤检测等多样性技术于一身的亿元级综合型企业。 实施“十三五”*重点项目8项，省级重点项目17项，获得50余项省部级优秀工程奖，打造出一支以8名注册岩土工程师、8名注册测绘师、10名一级建造师、4名注册环评工程师牵头的技术人才队伍。
