珠海华润化学材料科技有限公司成立于2010年,是由华润化学材料股份有限公司出资设立的外资企业，是国资委直属重点骨干企业华润集团旗下的一级利润中心子公司，公司主营聚酯切片（PET）的生产和销售，产品（PET）广泛用于饮料、食用油、保鲜膜、药品等各种包装材料，是国内PET瓶片生产规模领先的专业生产供应商之一。公司现注册资本8.2877亿元，共由两个厂区组成。公司通过生产工艺改动后，生产出高透PET和医疗PET的聚酯产品，前后期间公司获得了42个专利、5项发明和3个核心自主知识产权。为了进一步鼓励创新，营造良好的创新环境，公司投资4880万元，以*企业研发中心的标准进行新型高分子材料研究中心研发大楼的建设，目前大楼已经处于建设阶段，预计2021年下半年投入使用。
