Weibang Yingzao Architectural Design (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

Formerly the Asia Department of the American VBN Architectural Design Company, it was established in 1998. In 2006, it obtained the Grade A qualification of an architectural design firm, and was later renamed Weibang Global Architectural Design (Beijing) Firm. In 2008, it jointly established the Tsinghua Weibang Urban and Construction Research Center with the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tsinghua University, specializing in research on the architect responsibility system. After achieving breakthrough results in China's architect responsibility system in 2012, it took the lead in implementing the "Tsinghua Weibang Construction Method (RD+EPC Model)" on projects. Following this breakthrough success, it completed a number of high-quality architect responsibility system projects, yielding enormous social effects and public popularity. After eight years of application and practice testing by the firm, it is now mature. In 2018, it was renamed Weibang Yingzao Architectural Design (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and began to transform and promote the application of its results. It has achieved an architect responsibility system with Chinese characteristics that meets international standards while aligning with national conditions.
