Beihang Jiangxi Research Institute

As a practical carrier of provincial-university cooperation between Jiangxi Province and Beihang University, the Jiangxi Research Institute of Beihang University (abbreviated as Beihang Jiangxi Research Institute) is a provincial-level public institution jointly established by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Beihang University. Founded on June 10, 2019, the Institute is located in Nanchang High-tech Zone and includes research and office spaces in three parks: the Science and Technology Innovation Center of Nanchang High-tech Zone, Yaohu Aviation City, and Zhongxing Industrial Park on Aixihu North Road, undertaking functions of scientific research and innovation, production testing, and industrial incubation. Based on Jiangxi Province's policy advantages and industrial strengths, and centering on major strategic industries and key development areas of Jiangxi Province and Nanchang City, the Institute proposes the '2-4-8' development strategy, namely focusing on two major industries of 'aviation, electronic information and communication', laying out four major sectors of 'aero engines', 'intelligent manufacturing', 'artificial intelligence and industrial IoT', and 'education and training', and concentrating on eight directions, namely 'small gas turbine engines, precision forming and high-precooling engines, intelligent machining and advanced CNC, advanced imaging detection technology and instruments, visual computing and intelligent navigation, aviation simulation and virtual reality, intelligent management and control of communication power supplies, and talent training'.
