China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CTG New Energy, stock code: 600905), as the strategic implementation entity of the new energy business of China Three Gorges Corporation, carries the historical mission of developing new energy. In recent years, CTG New Energy has actively developed onshore wind power and photovoltaic power generation, vigorously developed offshore wind power, accelerated the construction of large-scale wind power and photovoltaic power bases focused on deserts, Gobi and barren lands, deeply promoted the integration of source-grid-load-storage and multi-energy complementarity, and explored businesses such as pumped storage, new-type energy storage, hydrogen energy, and solar thermal power. At the same time, it has invested in related industries with high relevance to its new energy business and synergistic effects of complementary advantages and strategic coordination, basically forming a business pattern where wind power, solar energy, energy storage, strategic investment and other sectors support each other and develop in synergy. In June 2021, CTG New Energy was officially listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, setting a record for the largest scale in the history of China's electric power industry. As of the end of 2024, CTG New Energy's business has covered 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government across the country, with a total installed capacity of approximately 48 million kilowatts and total assets exceeding 350 billion yuan. Its installed capacity and profitability rank among the forefront of the domestic industry.
