It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. (formerly the Second Highway Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Communications), with all employees invested. In June 2019, CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co., Ltd., using the former Datong Company as a platform, integrated the business and organization of the former Datong Company and the Engineering General Contracting Company of CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co., Ltd., and changed the company name to "Wuhan Datong Engineering Construction Co., Ltd." The company specializes in general contracting, agent construction management, construction supervision, consulting, survey and design, bidding agency, and other businesses for highway engineering, municipal engineering, etc.
