中国人民解放军空军特色医学中心隶属空军军医大学建制管理，以原空军总医院、原空军航空医学研究所及其附属医院、原空军疾病预防控制中心为基础合并组建而成。现有3个国家中医药管理局重点学科、8个全军医学专科（专病）中心，2个全军重点实验室和18个专业实验室，主要面向全军承担特殊职业病研究、预防、诊治和应急支援保障任务，承担招收飞行学员体检和飞行人员航空医学鉴定、训练任务及上级赋予的其他任务。
