Kylin Software

In response to industry development trends, market customer needs, and national cyberspace security strategic requirements, and to give full play to the role of central enterprises as the main force in the construction of national key information infrastructure, two operating system companies under China Electronics Corporation (CEC), namely China Standard Software Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Kylin Information Technology Co., Ltd., have achieved a strong integration to create a new flagship of China's operating systems—Kylin Software Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Kylin Software").

Kylin Software, with secure and trusted operating system technology as its core, owns two major product brands: "Galaxy Kylin" and "China Standard Kylin". It not only creates secure and innovative operating systems and corresponding solutions for the general-purpose field, but also develops high-security and high-reliability operating systems and solutions for the dedicated field. It has now formed products including server operating systems, desktop operating systems, embedded operating systems, and Kylin Cloud, which can simultaneously support domestic CPUs such as Phytium, Kunpeng, Loongson, Sunway, Zhaoxin, and Hygon. The enterprise adheres to open cooperation to build an industrial ecosystem and provides customers with complete domestic localization solutions.

Kylin Software focuses on core technology innovation, having applied for more than 320 patents, of which 148 are authorized patents, registered 394 software copyrights, led or participated in drafting more than 30 national, industry, and alliance technical standards, and won more than 400 awards at various levels and industries, including the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. It has also been honored with titles such as "Key Software Enterprise within National Planning Layout", "National High-Tech Industrialization Demonstration Project", and "Science and Technology Reform Demonstration Action Enterprise". The enterprise emphasizes quality system and innovation capability building, having passed CMMI Level 5 assessment, and currently has a postdoctoral workstation and provincial/ministerial-level basic software engineering centers, possessing strong scientific research capabilities and strict management standards.

Kylin Software has branch offices in Tianjin, Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, Guangzhou, Taiyuan, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shenyang, and other places, with service outlets covering 31 provincial capital cities nationwide. Its operating system product series are widely used in industries such as government and party affairs, finance, telecommunications, energy, transportation, education, and healthcare.
