Since January 1, 2021, the former DEKRA East Asia and South Asia region has been merged with South Africa and Oceania to establish the new DEKRA Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The combined DEKRA Asia-Pacific region includes Greater China, Japan, Korea, India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and Singapore, employing over 3,700 staff. DEKRA Asia-Pacific's business is extensive, covering vehicle inspection, claims and expert assessment, industrial and construction inspection, assurance and public training, product testing and certification, system auditing, and digitalization-related services.
