Founded in 2009, it is one of the first 36 enterprises in Shanghai to obtain the "Shanghai Automobile Leasing Operation Qualification Certificate", and is committed to building a domestic leading professional digital automobile service platform centered on the new energy vehicle industry chain. Its main businesses include new energy vehicle sales, leasing, finance, maintenance, insurance, disposal, and car owner care services.

Shanghai Jiaxing was formerly Fa Xing Hua Bao Car Rental (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. After its establishment in 2009, it mainly provided long and short term car rental services, business travel pickup and drop-off services for Fortune 500 companies and domestic mid-to-high-end clients, serving over 300 clients by 2019. In early 2020, after multiple rounds of capital investment, Shanghai Jiaxing became a modern enterprise jointly operated by state-owned capital and social capital. In the same year, Shanghai Jiaxing seized the opportunity of the development of new energy vehicles, focusing on the layout of new energy vehicle related industries, including new energy vehicle sales, leasing, maintenance, disposal, and car owner care services.
