Hexin Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2014, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing XinNuo Investment Co., Ltd., focusing on the integrated circuit sector within its high-tech division. The company is dedicated to the development of domestic server chips, committed to deep cooperation with international technology licensors and open-source instruction set architecture organizations, aiming to develop high-performance domestic server chipsets based on complete technology authorization. It produces and sells server chipsets and customizes server equipment according to client requirements.
The company has established R&D centers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta, and Austin, USA, and plans to set up a Beijing R&D center next year.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area serves as the company's headquarters. This region is one of the most open and economically vibrant areas in China, holding significant strategic importance in the nation's overall development. The national plan for the Greater Bay Area is not only a new attempt to promote a comprehensively open pattern in the new era but also a new practice to advance the development of the "One Country, Two Systems" cause. Guided by national policies, the Greater Bay Area's advantages, such as strong economic strength, concentrated innovation factors, leading internationalization, and a good foundation for cooperation, will continue to expand, attracting overseas scholars and outstanding talents, creating extremely favorable conditions for the company's future development. The company will establish the Greater Bay Area OpenPower Engineering Technology Center to achieve major breakthroughs in related fields around OpenPower chips.
The Yangtze River Delta is the company's key project area. This region is one of the most economically active, open, and innovative areas in China, holding a pivotal strategic position in the national modernization and comprehensive opening-up pattern. Supporting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta has been elevated to a national strategy, which will greatly enhance the region's innovation and competitiveness. The company has already accumulated certain industrial presence in Suzhou, Shanghai, and other places, and will develop an R&D center integrating development and product engineering.
Beijing, as a major hub for China's integrated circuit industry, hosts numerous IC enterprises and higher education institutions. The company will join hands with Tsinghua University to establish the OpenPower Research Institute, providing strong support for various centers in R&D design, innovative production, management, and implementation.
Austin is a well-known high-tech industry center in the United States, often referred to as "Silicon Hill." The Austin R&D center will serve as a bridge to strengthen the company's cooperation with international enterprises such as IBM.
The company's core team includes leading figures in the IT industry, returning experts, and specialists in CPU and high-performance IC chip design from home and abroad. Members of the R&D team possess years of experience in chip and server system development, are familiar with the entire chip and system design process, and have accumulated rich practical experience. The company plans to expand to 400 R&D and product engineering experts by 2025.
