Hunan Kylinsec Technology Co., Ltd., also known as the Hunan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Operating Systems, was established in 2007. In 2011, Hunan Kylin became the supporting entity of the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for High Trustworthy Operating Systems, approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. It is dedicated to the industrialization development of domestic Kylin operating systems and related products.

Products: Kylinsec Operating System OS, with three product lines of information security and cloud computing, has been widely used in important fields such as government, energy, finance, and education. The company has established good strategic partnerships with mainstream hardware manufacturers, basic software vendors, and application software vendors to build an independent innovation information system ecosystem.

With strong scientific research capabilities and unremitting pursuit of technological innovation, Hunan Kylin has comprehensive qualifications, becoming a key science and technology laboratory, a national economic mobilization center for basic software, and a designated production and sales unit for commercial cryptography. It has also undertaken multiple national and provincial major projects such as the National Science and Technology Major Project of Core High-end Generic Chips and the National Information Security Special Project, and has won multiple national or provincial and ministerial awards including the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress and the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress of Hunan Province.

Hunan Kylin's headquarters is located in Changsha, Hunan, with branches established in Beijing, Xi'an, Nanjing, Guangzhou and other places, providing users with localized services and support.
