It was the first biotech high-tech pharmaceutical project introduced after the establishment of the "National Shanghai Bio-Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Industry Base" and has passed national GMP certification. In January 2021, the company was officially renamed "Kyowa Kirin (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd."
