Garrett entered China in 1994 and was among the first foreign enterprises to introduce turbocharging technology to China. Currently, Garrett's China regional headquarters is located at No. 8 Newton Road, Pudong Free Trade Zone, Shanghai, housing two advanced manufacturing facilities in Shanghai and Wuhan, along with two in-house global R&D centers. Garrett employs over 1,000 staff, including a local project engineering R&D team of more than 200 people, equipped with end-to-end engineering and service capabilities, and has established deep and broad cooperation with over 40 global and local OEM customers.
