Sinotruck (Chongqing) Light Vehicle Co., Ltd. is one of the important automobile enterprises in western China, jointly invested by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk) and Weichai Power Group. It originated from Chongqing Yuzhou Automobile Manufacturing Plant, established in 1956. As a strategic emerging enterprise of the group, the company undertakes the development responsibility of expanding the light vehicle market and is an important part of Sinotruk's full-series commercial vehicles. The company mainly develops full-series pickup trucks, large SUVs, VANS, MPVs, new energy vehicles, and other light vehicle products. Located in Chongqing, the automobile manufacturing center and economic center of western China, its production base is situated in Shuangfu New District, Jiangjin District, Chongqing, covering an area of 1,285 mu. The factory is fully automated with conveyor systems, equipped with a large amount of imported equipment and complete information systems, with manufacturing processes at the upper-middle level domestically.
