Shenzhen Qianhai Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qianhai Energy") was registered and established in 2014 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Qianhai Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., which is directly under the Shenzhen Qianhai Authority. Qianhai is the core area undertaking the future development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As an important national strategic platform of the new era personally decided, planned, and promoted by General Secretary Xi, Qianhai embodies five major national strategies: the Belt and Road Initiative, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation, the Pilot Free Trade Zone, and innovation-driven development, and is committed to building a new internationalized city center with world-class standards and Chinese characteristics. To implement the sustainable development concept of "low-carbon, ecological, energy-saving and environmental protection," Qianhai plans to build a regional central cooling system, with 10 cooling stations and 90 kilometers of municipal cooling pipelines planned within the region, a total cooling capacity of 400,000 refrigeration tons, a total investment of approximately 4 billion yuan, and a cooling service building area of 19 million square meters, making it the largest planned regional cooling system in the world. Qianhai Energy shoulders the corporate mission of "implementing the plan and fulfilling commitments," and is responsible for the investment, construction, and operation management of regional central cooling in Qianhai. While further promoting the comprehensive development and utilization of regional energy and actively exploring comprehensive energy service models adapted to regional sustainable development, it will also join hands with power supply, gas supply and other service companies to build the Qianhai multi-energy collaborative integrated dispatch platform, organically integrating the production and supply of multiple types and grades of energy through the Internet and the Internet of Things, forming the Qianhai regional smart energy service network, coordinating the advancement of the entire green energy system construction in the Qianhai area, and helping to achieve the "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" targets.
