Beijing Capital Eco-Environment Group Co., Ltd. (formerly "Beijing Capital Co., Ltd.", abbreviated as "Capital Eco-Environment Group") was established in 1999 and is a state-controlled environmental protection flagship enterprise under Beijing Capital Group Co., Ltd. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2000. As the earliest listed company engaged in environmental protection investment, Capital Eco-Environment Group took the lead in implementing market-oriented reform of the domestic water and environmental protection industry, actively promoted the development of environmental protection, and is committed to becoming a trustworthy comprehensive provider of ecological environment services. After more than 20 years of development, the company's business has expanded from urban water, solid waste treatment to comprehensive water environment management, resource and energy management, with nationwide layout and overseas expansion. As of the end of 2020, Capital Eco-Environment Group had projects in more than 100 cities across 28 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government, with water treatment capacity reaching 30.47 million tons per day, annual household waste treatment capacity of 13.82 million tons, and serving a total population of over 60 million. The company's total assets reached RMB 100.6 billion, ranking among the top environmental protection companies listed on the main board.
