常州新美水务有限公司成立于2015年11月，注册资金24亿元，是为加快推进常州市新北区水利设施建设、改善和提升全区水环境，依据区政府相关会议精神成立的国有公司。新美水务承担的主要任务为新孟河延伸拓浚及综合配套工程、全区污水管网和农村污水收集处理全覆盖工程的投资、建设管理，同时根据“263专项行动”关于治理黑臭水体的要求，对全区污水管网进行运行维护。
