Shanghai Taimi Robotics Co., Ltd. is one of the few robotic platform-based enterprises in China with independent intellectual property rights of core technologies, capable of independently and rapidly providing overall design and application solutions for intelligent robot systems. In 2021, the company was selected as an authoritative national-level "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" "Little Giant" enterprise by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and has been undergoing IPO tutoring on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.
The company has undertaken more than 20 major projects, including key special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Artificial Intelligence 2030, Science and Technology to Boost Economy 2020, Digital Diagnosis and Treatment), key special projects of the National Development and Reform Commission (New Generation Information Infrastructure 5G Integration), the National Natural Science Foundation, and projects from the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization.
Taimi was the first to define three categories of medical robots: intelligent disinfection robots, logistics management robots, and intelligent medical service robots. Among them, disinfection robots are the first robots to obtain medical device registration certificates for disinfection equipment nationwide. The flexible logistics system is the first intelligent system in China to integrate the storage, transportation, and use management of medical supplies. The ward service robot is a medical service robot product that is the first to obtain CFDA Class II registration certificate, and has become one of the innovative medical charging service items in China.
