Chongqing Damei Yangtze Three Gorges Cruise Co., Ltd. was established on March 7, 2002. It is a comprehensive service company integrating foreign-related tourism transport on the Yangtze River waterway, sightseeing tourism transport of the Three Gorges, and hotel management. Its main businesses include: foreign-related tourism transport on the Yangtze River waterway from Chongqing to Wuhan, Three Gorges sightseeing tourism and business passenger transport from Chongqing to Yichang, and chartered cruise tourism transport from Chongqing to Nanjing. On December 9, 2014, it was successfully listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) (Stock Code: 831408).
To build a high-end industrial market for Yangtze River waterway transport, the company has successively invested in and built three five-star luxury cruise ships of the Huaxia Shennv series.
1. Huaxia Shennv No. 1 cruise ship: total investment of 80 million yuan, maiden voyage on June 29, 2012. The interior decoration is based on the cultural heritage of the Three Gorges Goddess story, perfectly interpreting the Three Gorges civilization and the Goddess culture.
2. Huaxia Shennv No. 2 cruise ship: total cost of 120 million yuan, maiden voyage on November 16, 2014, with a passenger capacity of 400. Its decoration inherits the traditional style of Huaxia Shennv No. 1.
3. Huaxia Shennv No. 3 cruise ship: total cost of 200 million yuan, maiden voyage on May 20, 2021. The total activity area for passengers and crew is 19,000 square meters. It has 9 types of cabins: total suite, luxury suite, honeymoon suite, parent-child suite, executive room, starry sky room, standard room, single room, and inside cabin. The cruise ship is equipped with comprehensive service facilities including a business center, shopping center, children's playground, bar, multi-function hall, medical clinic, chess and card room, cinema, video game arcade, KTV rooms, massage room, and sun deck. The total length of the ship is 149.99 meters, molded breadth 23.2 meters, loaded draft 3.1 meters, with 319 guest rooms, capable of carrying 650 passengers. It is the luxury five-star cruise ship with the highest regional level, the largest effective passenger capacity, and the highest green ship rating on the Yangtze Three Gorges to date.
