Fujian Provincial Petrochemical Industry Design Institute was established in 1958, affiliated with Fujian Petrochemical Group, and holds Class A qualifications for engineering consulting, engineering design, and general engineering contracting in the chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries; it also possesses qualifications for the construction industry, municipal industry, pressure pipelines, and pressure vessels; it is a comprehensive chemical design institute integrating chemical research, engineering consulting, engineering design, engineering management, general engineering contracting, engineering supervision, engineering cost estimation, environmental assessment, environmental monitoring, safety assessment, and product quality inspection.
Currently, it has over 180 employees, including 128 professional technical personnel, among whom are 5 professor-level senior engineers, 107 senior engineers and engineers, and 98 registered engineers of various national categories. The institute has successively won the National Science Conference Award, the National Invention Exhibition Award, the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and provincial and ministerial level outstanding engineering design, engineering consulting, and excellent scientific and technological achievement awards; it holds 26 national patents and 5 software copyrights; it has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a Fujian Province science and technology enterprise, and a petrochemical and chemical industry technological innovation demonstration enterprise.
Over the sixty years since its establishment, it has possessed technical advantages in fields such as petrochemical, organic chemical, inorganic chemical, polymer synthetic materials, fine chemical, and biochemical engineering, with unique technical strengths especially in petrochemical storage and transportation engineering, biopharmaceuticals, fluorochemical product series, epichlorohydrin, high-concentration formaldehyde, chlorates, hydrogen peroxide, lithium salts, molybdenum salts, white carbon black, industrial gases, LPG, LNG, and others; it has achieved multiple scientific research results and awards in the development of oleochemical and forest chemical products.
Fujian Provincial Petrochemical Industry Design Institute Guangzhou Branch was established in 2010. With the guiding principle of "Safe, High-quality, Customer Satisfaction," the Guangzhou Branch is rooted in Guangdong, serves Guangdong, and provides high-quality design services for Guangdong's economic development and engineering construction. Since its establishment, the Guangzhou Branch has undertaken multiple large and medium-sized industrial park projects within the province, establishing good collaborative relationships with client enterprises and local functional departments.
